Have you tried calling AA and checking availability?

If AA tells you there's no availability you can trust that it is true. I just went through hell and high water to book an upgrade to first for my fall trip to Maui. (OGG) I went through at least fifteen different dates until I gave up and asked what was avail. The Woman from AA was so patient and helped me out a lot. After about 30 minutes she finally got us September 27th and returning October 14th.

You really have to book out at the 330 day mark or else. Flexibility also helps.

Probably true most of the time for AA only itineraries but for complex OW RTW redemptions the agent is not always checking the inventory correctly.

Try the Qantas site to help your search. It won't cover all the right partners but can help.

Are these 2 separate roundtrips? Or are really trying to fly to ZRH in June and then back in July?

If you can fly on 6/2, IB has added new flights which probably have open award seats (IAD-MAD and BOS-MAD) and could help get you there.

Here's an award close to what I think you want.
6/1 SFO-BOS-LHR AA150/AA156 (arrives 8:30pm)
6/2 LHR-ZRH BA710 (7:10am-9:50am)
6/10 ZRH-JFK-DFW-SFO AA65/AA1389/AA1269

If you really meant a June to July trip, then there's:
6/5 SFO-JFK-LHR-ZRH AA178/AA116/BA716
7/17 ZRH-MAD-IAD-DFW-LAX IB3475/IB6241/AA541/AA2489

P.S. I guess your question is for the AA forum though.
