I purchased a new Toyota last November, all they let me pay with CC was $2000 as a deposit. However I had a Lojack unit installed by the dealer, and that I had written up as a separate purchase which I paid via CC. I assume any dealer installed option could be charged to a credit card, which could be a way to exceed any CC purchase limit.
