Miles for Luggage?
I need to replace my wheel aboard and buy another piece of luggage as a gift.
Anyone know where I can get miles for such purchases (in excess of the mile per dollar available w/affinity credit cards)?

Oh... I thought this thread was about getting frequent flyer miles when you fly LAX-ORD but your luggage goes LAX-LHR.
Seriously though, I just wanted to put my 2c (1 mile?) in regarding ebags. I had an *extremely* negative customer service experience with them. I'd ordered with them since they partner with Mileage Plus and I had an online coupon. Ordered two items, one of which wasn't in stock. They never contacted me to inform me about the out of stock item. I called them and was told that they did not know when the item would be in stock and had no way of finding out since that was the job of their distributor. They kept insisting that they'd find out and get back to me and they never did. This continued for well over a month. I asked for a name and number for the distributor and they refused. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that one would call me back. I ended up cancelling my order (had problems with that too). I'm sure people have had positive experiences shopping with eBags. But if you ever have to deal with their "customer service", good luck!
