Click Rewards is back....sort of

....but it's not that exciting. There seems to be no frequent flyer redemption exceptwith USAir. (The "preferences" asked me for my favorite airline, giving me a choice of US,AA, or UA. I checked AA -- did this twice -- and up popped America West as my official favorite. I don't think I've ever even Flown them, and this didn't bode well for the website.) Shops included a number of places that we've seen before on GoldPoints, AOLAadvantage or the old click rewards, but the miles are stingy -- one per dollar. It's probably better than nothing if you needed something Anyway from Barnes & Noble, office depot, j-crew, sephora, etc., but I can't see this outfit becoming something I obsess about in 20/20 fashion.

While I won't likely use the new Clickrewards program, as I'm happy with the Mypoints.com program, there are a few limited benefits with the new CR program, such as a 5% bonus for the next 3 months as well as a 250 point bonus for updating ones account.

How about that great buy.com deal - 1 Clickmile for $5 of purchases. At that rate I will only need to spend $125,000 to get a free domestic trip on USAir.
