Don't want to clog the system,
but has anyone else noticed the
slowness? I am on DSL 512k and
it takes 20 or so seconds to post.

Hope the main server isn't next...
Imagin that!

I have not gotten United to work.

FlyerTalk was mentioned in yesterday's Wall Street Journal, perhaps traffic is up because of that.

Tried the Most Active Topics route, Slow, but gets you to United threads. But still times out if I try to get into United by the back door.

Slow here as well and we're not that happy because of it. We've had a nice run of no problems and can't tell if this is a result of unusual research going on with the search engine (that is usually the culprit) or that we have hit the curve to move up the ladder to another fire breathing server. Our last server upgrade (dedicated) was last July and it might be we have now outgrown this one. We'll request a set of performance stats and make a decision - but am really sorry. Just rememebr if it's slow for you, definitely slow for us. We may have to go to post rationing and limit some of you to odd days and even days.......

This problem has been recognized by FT admin people, and is being responded to in the "Technical" forum.
