Airline Tanking

I think my airliine is going under in the next year. Is cashing in and getting a paper ticket the best thing to do with the logic that once in hand I'll be able to transfer it to another airline? Or are these tix restricted in some way...

Which airline? It might be covered under awardguard if you want to pay for it. Or, it might be transferable into a hotel account or Diners Club account.

I suspect that HP will be acquired by CO or DL within the next 6 months and they will honor the points. So I would hold tight.
