Which frequent flyer program to use out of OSL?
As someone who travels mostly for leisure, I've always gone for the cheapest ticket and never paid much attention to frequent flyer programs. Reading these boards has made me see the error of my ways, and I'm looking for the best program to suit my needs so I can accrue some benefits. Right now I have about 10k miles on Flying Blue, the same on Qatar and maybe a couple of k on SAS Eurobonus. It seems like it might make sense to start concentrating on Eurobonus, since SAS is the main carrier flying out of OSL, but I'm not sure how the benefits compare to say Miles and More. I travel internationally maybe eight times a year, a couple of trips to the states, one or two to the Far East and the rest within Europe. Anyone else based in Scandinavia have some advice?

Eurobonus or other FF-program
Hi there,
If you are flying from OSL I would probably go for something within Star Alliance. SAS' lounges in OSL; the Business Lounge and the slightly more upscale Scandinavian Lounge (with hard liquor and decent food), are pretty nice and located just over the tax free store in the International section of the airport.
There is another lounge in OSL which I have used when I have been flying KLM. This lounge cater to several other carriers and is allright but does not have the variety of food and liqour as the SK Scandinavian lounge. Also important to know is that this lounge is located in the domestic part of the airport, and once you have entered the international section it can be quite a hazzle to exit again if you want to visit the lounge.
You probably know this, but in Eurobonus you will reach Silver at 20k and Gold at 45k if you have your addres registred as Norwegian. You will find some good info in this thread:

Good Luck with your flying.
