miles for one-way rentals?

Can miles/points from any program be used for one-way rentals? e.g. from PIT to YYZ?

Thanks, and sorry if this is a stupid question.

I am asking if I can redeem miles, in any way, through any program, for one-way car rentals.

Maybe the way to do this is through Coupon Connection. See me there?

Thanks, but could you just tell me how this works briefly before a trade would happen on the Coupon Connection? I just haven't yet seen any sort of program that allows one-way rental awards.

For example, National Car Rental (Emerald Club) will definitely rent me a one-way (intermediate or Full-size), PIT-CLE, two days, unlimited mileage, with the use of two rental credits. I still would have to pay about $8.00 in fees. The normal rate would be $273 ("rack rate") before taxes (about $50), though my discount knocks about $68 off the rack rate. Still the two rental credits eliminate 97% of the cost.

But I don't know if there is a way to rent a car for you, in your name (and you responsible for the gas, insurance, etc) from _my_ rental credits - - even if we were seeking to trade something (like Airline FF miles) of comparable value.

FTers in the Coupon Connection would know more about options for doing this.

Thanks, I put up a post in the CC.

However, I am still interested in this info if anyone has it....if any miles can be used for one-way rentals.

Thanks.
