Elite Security Lines to Continue Under Government Management?

Does anyone have new info about the above? If the lines are terminated, when would that happen?

Delta is continuing to operate their lines at ATL today and so is Northwest at DTW.

I still think that favoring one airline's elites over another, just because of which airline happens to have been picked to control the point, is wrong. It's not even always the major airline at that airport--American, for instance, is the clear #2 in Nashville, but happens to be all on the same terminals as #1 Southwest. Therefore, it is the #3 airline, Delta, that controls the checkpoint that Southwest does not.

OKC Terminal B does it right. If you're elite with any airline that flies from B, you can use the express line.
