I feel "ON FIELD" - my award says "If it doesn't have the shield, it doesn't get on the field" and "it isn't just exactly what the players wear. It's the only thing they wear".

I am overpowered - and over"heated" as I seat now, with my 49er-jacket on, in my private office room, my wife looking and laughing at me.

And there was a trophy-supplement, which I will try out on my next (non VARIG-) flight - and I will report to you all the reactions of the crew and accompanying passengers: a wonderful, very real "cuban"-looking cigar (Godiva-chocolate).

Many thanks to Vera and Mark and all the undersigned: I count 22, and probably some more supporters who were away when the "NON-OMNI COMMITTEE FLYER TALKERS" formed their own committee and made their decision.

and a special thanks to baobab and CatMan: XXL fits just correct (only for my "non-profession-NFL-shoulders" I will sign in tomorrow for a fitness- and muscle-building training - or may be, I just ask some former eastern-german or chines coaches if they can send me some pills with the same effect.

I promiss to wear the jacket on this weekends men's ski-worldcup-downhill-race at Wengen against all protests of the official race-sponsors: you might watch at ESPN or ESPN2 (I will stand just beyond the second intermediate time-taking, at/under the Hundschopf = dogshead (no cats will be around there).

dangge villmool (swiss german) - Vielen Dank (german) = Thank you very much!

Jaws, I'm sorry that I asked. But being a newsperson I always have questions.

Rudi: I will pass on Jaws e-mail.

I didn't know because I don't ski. The only snow I know is the stuff I slip and fall on outside my apartment house!

OK!! NO MORE E-MAILS ON THIS TOPIC!! CATMAN

Rudi, Do not eat anything but white snow!!!

Unless, of course, you use white snow and pour some cranberry juice and vodka in it.

Congratulations Rudi, and thanks to all who made this possible...
(I included a list of our 'committee members' in the parcel, so he knows who you are)

If anyone's annoyed at being left out, feel free to e-mail me asking to be added to the next mailing list... I would have liked to have posted a general invitation on the board, but the big Swiss brother is always watching us!

Special thanks to Baobab and Catman for their inspiration and efforts beyond the call of FlyerTalk duty!

Congratulations, Rudi. You're one of the best. Wear it in good health.

And of course, thanx to Baobab and Catman who made it all happen!

What a great group; you're all the best.
