Best credit card for Dining

I need to frequently meet clients for business lunches and usually pay with my Delta skymiles card.

What is the best credit card available with no annual fees for the most points / rewards for eating out?

Citi mtvU, but you can only get it if you're in college.

It gives 5x$1 Thank You reward points when used at restaurants. Unfortunately you can't transfer to other programs, but you can redeem TY points for travel, or at a $.01 per point for gift cards.

Welcome to FT, Kal Joge.

If there are any decent restaurants in your area that subscribe to iDine (Rewards Network), you can sign up there and get an extra 3 miles per dollar. After 12 dines, you get 10 miles per dollar. However, be warned, there are not many good restaurants in that program.

A variation on the Idine program exists with Citibank's AA Business card. You'll get 15% cash back and either 1 or 3 miles per dollar spent (I forget which).

Oh yeah--The Costco Amex gives you 3% at all restaraunt--so I carry both the Citi AA Business cards to use at restaraunts where I know I can get the 15% back (they are in the Idine program) and use the Costco Amex at all the others.

Sometimes I go to an Idine restaraunt without realizing it so I have my Costco card registered with a seperate Idine account that gives me 10 miles per $.

(fyi--Idine is now called Rewards Network -- rewardsnetwork.com)

Hilton Amex

Hilton Amex -you get 5 Hilton HHonors bonus points for each eligible dollar spent at dining establishments. There is no annual fee for this card.

Currently my Citi Dividend has a 5% back on restaurants promo, but thats temporary.

As others suggest, you should register ALL your credit cards with IDINE.

^ Just to be specific its the "True Earnings" card
i think 3% cash back is worth lot more compared to miles earned.
Double dipping with Idine is great too

Citi Professional Cards

Citi Professional Card with ThankYou Network gives you 3 ThankYou Points per dollar spent at restaurants.

Citi Professional Cash Card gives you 3% cash back on restaurant purchases.

Same rate of rewards on auto rentals, gas stations and certain office supply merchants too. 1 point or 1% cash back on everything else.

You both beat me to it! But, the bad part is that you have to use your rebate at Costco, which may or may not suit your needs.

Personally, I like the Citi Dividend Card better, 5% on Groceries, Gas, and Perscription Drugs, and 1% Everywhere Else, and MC's are much more widely accepted than AMEX.

You dont have to use it. My rebates are rather large. I usually
opt for the cash. Costco can cash your rebate checks for you.
