Question Some feedback on Jet Airways please?

Can someone give me some feedback on Jet Airways? Anyone who has flown them?

I am thinking of flying them London/Mumbai/Goa but don't know how secure the airline is and how is the service and airplanes are. I am a bit scared to tell the truth!

Thanks in advance!

Teresa

I flew JET 2 years ago on domestic flights (3) within India; clean and new planes, great food and friendly, professional attendants. They would put some US carriers to shame. Go for it!

Put it simply - it's the best Indian airline you can fly (not to confuse w/the "official" Indian carrier, viz. "Indian" - confusing, I know.) Jet Airways is simply on par w/any of the world's best airlines (I obviously don't mean any of the American carriers.) Professional crew, professional service thruout, newer a/c's. Absolutely on par w/any of the top-5 airlines out there in the world. Can't go wrong w/'em. Just FYI - they're mainly a domestic carrier in India, only recently venturing out to int'l destinations, and are NOT in competition w/the tons of LCCs' springing up like crazy out there!!

Definitely go for it - you won't be disappointed.

Why are you scared? Because it is a 3rd world country, therefore it might not be up to par...This airline's service would puts AA,DL,CO and many others to shame....especially in coach and even in first...

Jet Airways long-haul business class is very good. Jet Airways domestic (intra-India) coach and business class service are excellent in-flight. I've flown them a lot, and within India itself there is no one better across as much of India (although Kingfisher could give Jet Airways a run for the money).

I rate Jet Airways amongst the best carriers for in-flight service when it comes to within India, and they're very good internationally too.

I would not hesitate to fly them; I recommend flying them.

I love Jet. I've flown them five times, never any problems. I've flown Air India and Royal Nepal and had nothing but problems.

Teresa,,
As if you have not been convinced yet, I give my two cents worth. I do not know if any other airline would serve you a full, hot, delicious meal even on a ONE HOUR long flight!

Jet Airways will treat you like a Maharani.

Bon Voyage.

Since you got the answers you were looking for, and this has nothing to do with miles or points, I'm going to close it here.
