ok thats why they are taking all our stuff at the security gates ..they are selling it on ebay !!!!..700 used nail clippers...but what are they really saying are stuff is going ....I had those nail clippers for 15 years...

They are getting destroyed according to what the FAA has been saying. Do a search here, there are a couple of references to news stories from the past couple of weeks about all the nail files and clippers.

On a related note, the last time I flew, security made me hand over my nail clippers. But to my surprise, she broke off the swing out "knife" and gave the clippers back to me. It's fine with me since I only use the clipper part anyway. But I wonder, is this a new policy or is this just being done at a few security check points?
