LGA long-term reduced rate parking?
We are planning to use this (lot #3) for a week starting early (like 4:30 am) this Friday. They say the space is limited. I was wondering what would be the chance of not finding the space and if so, what would be some of the alternatives? I called them and got "I don't know" answer.

I use Avistar at JFK/LGA/EWR as well.
Two weeks ago I left my car there for 5 days... I had $25 worth of quarters in the ash tray. When I got back they were gone.
I called them and they didn't want to know anything about it, and said I ws supposed to remove anything of value from the car.
I still use them because they're the cheapest with the corp discount. I just make sure I take everything out except the floormats.

I use Avistar too, haven't had a problem with them. There are several other lots in the area, some of them cost less money, including most of the Hotels and car rental agencies. Because I've never had a problem with Avistar, I feel they are more secure then many of the other lots, and the ease of their express system I have always used them.
There is a list of some of them at

Avistar gives a AAA discount if you have that.
I don't think the long term lot would be full at that hour of the morning, but if it is then just exit the airport and go to one of the off site lots.

I had planned to use long term parking for an early flight in November. The lot was full. I ended up in short term parking so I could make my flight. Fortunately, it was only for 4 days. Next time, I'll go off-site or take a car service.
