World Cup Promotion
AeroMexico is running a unique promotion, which is based on the performance of the Mexican soccer team in the World Cup. If I understand correctly the T & C, for each goal scored by the Mexican team, AM members who fly during the games will earn an extra 1,000 kms. Mexico scored 4 goals in the 2002 World Cup.
Now if only other FFPs offer similar promotions for their home teams, this can give a whole new twist to the games...

german rail has a similiar thing---
they are still selling a 25% off discount card that is valid till the end of july. for each round germany makes it further to the final, the validiy is prolonged for a nther month. if germany is going to win the final, it is valid till end of december. I think the DB sold about a million of those cards!
