Websites for fare code availibility?

Being somwhat new to the forums here, I have noticed a number of posts where FF's have been able to check the availibility of seats by fare code for an upcoming flight to determine whether or not they will get an upgrade.

How do you guys do this? Which site do I use and what do I look for to determine if upgrade seats are available (I am USAir, Delta, and CO elite)?

Any help is appreciated.

www.itn.net Amex's site will give fare class availability if you register as a user.

You also have to set your preferences in the profile to "expert" otherwise you won't see the fare codes.

After registering,
--select Travel Profile on left side of screen, then select Display Preferences, then select Availability Format: Expert

I use www.united.com and go to Travel Planning. Make sure to select Full Flight Search under Flights. The results will show all classes available plus number of seats for each class - max 9 per class. For UA look up A class for upgrade availability. Good luck !

Note: You must have a UA FF number to use Full Flight Search and register online with a password
