I spent too much time on Airliners.net trying to find a picture, but there is none.
The rest of the paint looks like this from Ryanair: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=177908&WxsIERv=Qm9laW5nIDczNy04Li4u&W dsYXMg=UnlhbmFpcg%3D%3D&QtODMg=U2FsemJ1cmcgLSBXLkE uIE1vemFydCAoTWF4Z2xhbikgKFNaRyAvIExPV1Mp&ERDLTkt =QXVzd HJpYQ%3D%3D&ktODMp=SnVseSAxOSwgMjAwMQ%3D%3D&WNEb25 u=RWR3aW4gT2xpbm93ZXR6&xsIERvdWdsY=RUktQ1NQ&MgTUQt ODMgKE=Tm90aWNlIHRoZSBzcGVjaWFsIGJhbm5lciAiR29vZCB sdWNrIEJyaWFuIGluIEJJRyBCUk9US EVSIiBvbiB0aGlzIGFpcmNyYWZ0IQ%3D%3D&YXMgTUQtODMgKE RD=MzAw&NEb25uZWxs=MjAwMS0wNy0yOA%3D%3D&static=yes
but, on the other hand, there is one Finnair MD-80 that is said "to have had the Santa Express" painting: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?i...kt=RmlubGFuZA% 3D%3D&ktODMp=QXByaWwgMTgsIDE5OTk%3D&WNEb25u=UGVra2 EgTGVodGluZW4%3D&xsIERvdWdsY=T0gtTE1O&MgTUQtODMgKE =IGhhZCB0aGUgInNhbnRhIGNsYXVzIiBwYWludGluZ3M%3D&YX MgTUQtODMgKERD=MjY0&NEb25uZWxs =MTk5OS0wNC0yMw%3D%3D&static=yes
but this is not an MD-80 is it? So my bet is Ryanair.
(edited to trying to fix the URL's, which doesn't seem to work)

FinAir is light blue. While they both do fly DUB, I am pretty sure this is Ryan Air. I could be wrong, but Ryan air does not only paint fun stuff on their planes, they sell advertising on them.

It is definitely an FR 737. If you look at the aircraft fuselage on the top right of the photo, you can see the flying harp logo.
What's more, the nose is a 737 so it cannot be AY. The door indicates it cannot be an A320 series (doors don't rotate 180 degrees to open), and the nose isn't that of a 757 or a MD-80/DC-9.

No offense meant to anyone - just my comments:
The photo made me smile - and basically that was it.
Do we really have to analyze everything to death? - sometimes a cigar really is just a cigar.
Bah, Humbug

There's a Christmas card out there that looks pretty similar - my ATC mgr husband sent it to his colleagues one year. It's a front on view, with a bunch of reindeer on an airplane's nose and the most befuddled look on the pilots. It's very cute ... as was this picture.
