Destination ZZZ

When I checked my bag at ARN last week, I got the usual destination sticker with CDG and LAX on it, but they also added a second destination sticker with ZZZ on it.

Did my bag go via "Slumberland" or what was that for? (I forgot to ask at the counter).

this must have been Air France, right? I have one too, proudly displayed on my flying memorabilia board.

I suspect it is to wake up those useless bag agents at CDG -- this was the first time in my last three connections there that my bag actually made it (of course, this time I allowed 2.5 hours for the connection, which probably also helped).

Well, looks the bag handlers really screwed up. Those ZZZ-tagged bags are earmarked for the "lost luggage limbo", and certainly shouldn't have been delivered to their proper destination. I'm sure the secret Fraternal Order of ZZZ Bag Handlers will have sharp words with those guys who mistakenly passed your luggage through.

Yes, it was AF, and it was a historical first for them: My bag actually arrived on the same plane as I did! That has never happened to me before on AF.

You have a flying memorabilia board?

Has the weight of it caused it to fall off the wall yet?

See My photo website... I've posted some pics of my wall there. It features two maps (US and int'l) with pushpins of where I've been, and is surrounded by the boarding passes and interesting tags (premium bags, transfer tags, etc) from my journeys.

Yes I am so particular/organized/retentive that the boarding passes are organized. The US passes are in alphabetical order by city, and only one per city per carrier.
The international ones are organized by carrier.
