which to choose?
hi guys
i'm going YYZ - SYD.
i have my choice of airlines to fly: AC, AA, CX, UA (goldpoints transfer to FF programs).
i'm wondering a couple things:
1. which would be the best? (in terms of service and access to lounges [for showers, alcohol, etc])
2. for UA, the difference between business class and first class is 20,000. is it worth it?
any help would be greatly appreciated
cheers

I don't know about UA & CX (AA doesn't fly to SYD), your chances of getting AC J class is very slim if you don't have any status unless you book at least a couple of months ahead and are very flexible on your dates. Their SYD flight goes through HNL which makes it very hard to get J seats.

You might want to post your question on the individual airlines' forum (UA,QF,CX...) to get their responses on their service and most importantly how hard it is to get award J seats.
