unsafe practices at EWR
Check this out.....how is it that these guys come in on their day off....wear their uniforms....and "volunteer" to help unload ANOTHER CARRIER'S EQUIPMENT????? Did they think they were really going to get away with this??

Now if you were an INS Agent, would you pick a flight that originated in Columbia, and stopped in Panama as a likely drug smuggler. Profile anyone??
As for the two airside employees, stupidity knows no boundaries. Set "THE" suitcase aside seperate from the rest of the luggage!

This is a classic example of what has gone wrong with security at airports. IMHO, even "authorized"personnel should not have access eyond their "shift time" or beyond their ordinary working area. Evey time an "authorized" person is accessing the restricted area, it should get logged and checked against the work area and work time parameters. The days of just simply waving the badge should be over.
