How good is the screening of employees of foreign airlines at JFK?

The other night when arriving on a DL flight at JFK I walked out the door of my plane and directly accross from it was the counter for Saudi Arabian Airlines. This made me wonder what type of extra security measures is our goverment taking to screen employees from foreign airlines that work at JFK and have access to many sensitive areas. Terminal 4 has Egyptair, Pakistan International and Kuwait Airlines which adds to the my concern. I am not prejudiced or am I advocating the profiling of all foreign nationals, however, I am a realist. Don't forget the Egyptair pilot that crashed his plane and was heard uttering religious phrases on the radio right before it went down. There is reason for concern regarding this security issue. Nowhere in the news have we heard anything regarding this matter.
