How Safe is Your US Airport?
Great article about airport security and how it is a career path in Europe with little turnover. Remember how Coolio rap artist was once a LAX airport security screener.
Also, second link has a plethora of graphs, charts and the like about US airline and airport security.

Lastly, if you are still concerned with airport security, you can calculate your odds by inputing airline and flight number at. Looks like I have a 1 in 5,149,560 chance! Is that reassuring?

I'm not sure that I follow you....
I kind of like the idea of having celebrity airport screeners--- particularly rappers, especially gangster rappers! They have familiarity with a lot of the potential weapons people would be attempting to smuggle on board.
