Talking Suggestions on Status Changes - NW to CO
I am a silver elite on Northwest and want to transfer my miles to Continental to obtain equivalent status. Will be traveling Continental more often in future.

Any ideas on how to make this happen and whom to speak with at CO?

I know of other folks who have made similar mileage and status swaps, but recognize these are hard times for frequent fliers...

A: This belongs in the CO forum.

B: One does not "transfer" miles to obtain status.

C: CO will not comp status for NW elites.

There are numorous posts suggesting how to go about the switch (either direction). Remember, you're NW status is usable on CO.
