Leaving points and miles to heirs
Does anyone know what one must do to "will" points and miles to an heir? Are there only certain programs that accept this?

dfleischli, you might get a more accurate response from folks in the MilesBuzz forum. FT Community is for posting get-togethers. Thanks.

"Dear Randy,
I received miles in a will. What value should these be for purposes of the estate? I'm hoping that it is less than what you can buy them for (which is generally $.02 per mile). They are miles in the Alaska Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Airlines and Marriott Miles programs. Thanks for your response!
Advice:
For purposes of a will, I've always advised (and please understand that I cannot offer a qualified legal opinion) others in your same situation to put no value on them."
