More double mile promos???

More double mile promos???
Do you guys think that there will be more double mile promos after the Thanksgiving holiday? I assume that many people are flying now because of the promo, but they will not fly after they return from Thanksgiving. I think the airlines will need to do something to fill seats between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

There is a slight possibility of an extension of double miles but I don't see any new promotions until after January when travel is very low, for example, to Europe in Feburary is less expensive and with extra bonus miles. This is where we should see the deals, in addition to more cuts in service and flights.

Delta just announced that they are continuing their double mile promo until Dec 15. Now I'm just waiting for AA to extend their's also. If not, I guess I'll fly Delta a few more times than I had planned. I'm not going to turn down double miles.
