Airlines, Hotels Increase Incentives
Review of what airlines and hotels are offering as incentives for their best customers. Also nice quote by Randy Petersen.
I think the airlines have done a lot to get us to fly- double miles and lower fares. But what will happen after Nov. 15? I just booked a ticket the day before Thanksgiving with no problem!? Are reservations really that light then?

Once again, Randy Petersen seems to be the most highly seeked out guru on frequent flyer programs! And to think there WAS a time when airlines disliked mileage runs.

For even more on frequent flyers (including a couple of FT'ers) and Mr. Petersen, please look under In The News, "Luring Back Customers With Frequent-Flier Mileage."

wigstheone, that link does not appear to work. Could you post the Forum and title so we can go there the old fashioned way? Thanks.

That was a nice summary of what the airlines and hotels are doing to get us to fly. I wish the double miles went past Nov 15 - let's hope that they'll extend it. I know that they want people to fly now - hopefully it will be the same as it gets closer to Nov 15th.
