Programs for companies to buy miles or points?

Our company is interested in being able to buy a large quantity of miles and/or hotel program points to use for awards to customers, but so far, i've only found a couple of programs (such as United's).

Can anyone point me to programs you might know of? Alternatively - we'd be interested in speaking with directors of marketing (or the appropriate person) at various carriers or hotel programs to create a specialised program if they do that kind of thing.

Many thanks in advance!

It's probably of no help in Australia, but Aeroplan definitely has a program like that (https://www.aeroplan.com/en/about/about_abs.jsp). You might also try one of the alliances like oneworld or Star Alliance.

Thanks - i'll look into the Aeroplan offer... and just to clarify, this promo we are intending to run for our customers will be open to anyone worldwide, not just Aussies, so we're interested in any programs around the globe that we might be able to use (to be more attractive as an incentive to mileage hounds )

Our company purchases AA miles. You must initially buy a minimum of 250,000 miles. AA also helps with promotions, if we need it. Has worked out very well, although our company has used more of the miles for employee contests and bonuses rather than customer promotions. EVERY FF program I have looked into has a program to sell miles to companies. Some publicize their programs more than others, and some have a large minimum quantity purchase, but I would be very surprised to learn that any major program would not do this.

I suggest looking at two factors:
- What programs are willing to sell you the quantity of miles you anticipate for the lowest cost per mile
- Which miles programs do your target audience value the most

I for one, would do far more to get 10K Asia Miles than 10K UA miles, etc....

Here's something you might consider: Many of the larger programs require advance purchase of large blocks of miles and it can be a rather expensive investment, etc.

You might consider this program:
https://www.airincentives.com/

They can help you through the confusion and perhpas help you better manage the miles you have in mind to give away. While miles can be a tremensous asset to customer incentive and retention, they really do not work for all customer segmentations.....

Thanks for the suggestions - and yes, we are comparing various programs right now to make sure we offer the best incentives (geographic coverage and # of points/miles) to potential customers.

Do you by chance have a link to the Asia-Miles program info for this kind of corporate purchase?

Cheers,

Randy-

Its not clear the maximum number of miles that can be distributed to any individual recipient.

* Can one person be distributed miles from just one of the participating FFPs or all six?

* Is there a cap on how many miles one individual can be distributed from any or all of the FFPs?

* What is the mileage purchase threshold in order to get the 2 cents per mile price?

Thanks.

Sorry - I don't have any direct contact info for this. I suggest calling their general number and seeing if they can find the right contact info for you.

I need to check out airincentives.com as it seems like a very useful thing.

I heard that the Priority Club Rewards Incentive Program provided real value.
