My heart goes out to all those people who have lost their life, their relative, their loved one, their neighbor, their fellow human being on the planet. Those that tried in vain to save themselfs and fellow passenger but may have saved thousands on the ground...a special God Bless You.
Sorry to those that are being branded by some "misguideds" who misunderstand who the "enemy" really is in their frustration.
Please, God, protect those still involved in the rescue efforts.
May I help to add to the calm and thoughtful efforts in the days, months and years ahead.
Hugging someone who needs it, as they never have before.
Listen to the voice of reason.
Help where you can, in anyway you can.
We must get down to the safety realities. Until the doors to the cockpit are barred, the flight is at risk. Perhaps we also need "sleeping" gas (to be used in emergencies) in the passenger compartment for all our safety too.
The economy is also a victim. The semi permenent losses of jobs for pilots, FA, Ground workers, hotel employees, travel agents, etc. The permanent loss of jobs for the curb baggage checkers. Food handlers. Where is our mail? What happened to the retirement plans of those with funds in the stock market? How much is the total cost? $100B? $1T? More?
How scared are you? To fly. To sit at your desk in your office building. To attend a concert? Go to a game? Have you discussed your fears with others? Discussed your and their fears at home? How does your family feel about your travel now? Guess the point game and status levels may have to take a back seat for the coming period.
Thank you for letting me ramble, my confusion.
