time to gate at airports...
i posted over in "airports" but there isnt a heck of a lot of activity over there, so im posting here...
im flying tomorrow, and looking for some beta about how long i should plan to stand in line at AUS and ORD. im 2k miles shy of elite on american, and so i get to stand in line with the regular people who watch fox network. does anyone have any recent experience of "if the line is this long, expect X hours." im less concerned about AUS, because i can just go there early as heck and live with it. at ORD though, i have a meeting in the afternoon, and a 6pm flight. is 2 hours a reasonable estimate? i was at AUS yesterday dropping off a friend, and the line looked wayyyy longer than 2 hours, and that didnt include security.
thanks for any info.

As of Friday anyway, you could bypass the lines at ORD if you had a ticket and no bags to check.
