A while back I accumulated quite a bit of miles with Hawaiian Airlines visiting my girlfriend in Hawaii often. (I'm from Seattle, by the way.) We broke up and I started travelling more, but with different airlines. Stupid me, I opened frequent flyer accounts with the different airlines I travelled with, such as Continental, Alaska Air, Northwest.. etc.. So I have all these miles, but their split up with all these different programs. I know when you travel with some of these airlines, they allow you to place your miles in different frequent flyer programs, but i'm not sure if they allow you to combine miles with other frequent flyer programs. Anyone have any advice on how I could combine all my miles with these different airlines? I know most of them have some type of affiliation with each other, but i'm not sure if I can combine them..

No, you can't.

You can, however, move some via Hilton HHonors. You typically lose 70 percent of their value in the process (most exchanges first turn 5K airline miles into 10K HH points, then turn 10K HH points into 1.5K airline miles; airlines with programs that don't follow the usual North American mileage pattern have their own formulas) but it can be useful to "top up" for an award or if they'd otherwise be lost. In general, you can not directly combine/transfer airline miles with out paying fees and losing a sbstantial value of the miles

another choice would be to look at all of your account, then top them off by a combination of flights, rental cars, purchases via the website and an airline credit card

I'd agree with the recommendation to top off accounts with more miles via various means. I'd probably concentrate on one or two at a time. But the OP needs to remember to maintain enough activity in every account to avoid expiration of any miles.

An added bit of advice to the OP: In the future it would be helpful (to you and to other members) if your thread titles are more specific. Perhaps Need help combining miles from several programs rather than just the vague, and oft used, Need help.
