sometimes a business ticket is not available, but it's a good idea to check for it before going for standard awards

sure is too bad Consumer Reports web site is at least two months out of date (July is last posting)

AND you have to be a subscriber to view their important information

as such, this post is only good for those who want to spend $26 for thise service

too bad ..

When they post the article/rankings online it'd be awesome if a subscriber could cut n paste the article/rankings in a fresh thread so we can see them and discuss.

peace,
~Ben~

So what put AA on top? My copy of CR won't reach me here in Japan for another few weeks.

It'd be even better to do so in this thread.

Athena53, answer to your question, CO is ranked # 6.
On what basis did CR rank CO 6th? Clearly, it could not have been award availability or ease of earning elite status.

I'm curious who finished lower than CO.

It would probably also be a copyright violation. But airlines typically issue press releases trumpeting their rankings, or CR may issue a public release with some teaser information.

CR is very touchy about their name being used with any kind of press release or promotional material. The only way you could see it mentioned is if one of the airlines said something along the lines of "Rated #1 by a leading consumer magazine..."

This is very true and I admire them for it. I bellieve the last CR battle (not for the quotes but for the CR review of their product) was with Suzuki USA. CR prevailed after 16 years.

So far in being sued, the scorecard reads:

CR 16

Suers 0
