A Year of Travel, where do i start?! HELP!

Hello! I have a full year of travel ahead of me, and I have traveled already. I think I am only enrolled in USAirways' program (I had America West, a long time ago), although possibily in United and American. Anyway, please help me sort this mess:
1. I traveled PHL to DFW in February, forgot to give my FF #. Can I still claim them?
2. In July I traveled PHL-LHR-CHP, then CHP-LHR-EDI, then EDI-LHR-PHL on BA. How do I claim these miles? Which airline FF program should I use?
3. I am planning a honeymoon for summer 2006 PHL-Hawaii, then Hawaii to Austrailia. I plan to use my AMEX points, however, I want to potentially use my FF miles to upgrade, or to trade in for furture travel.
4. I have a few other trips planned for this upcoming year, including Las Vegas (2x) and Arizona, prior to the July honeymoon. Which airline(s) should i purchase these tickets on to get the most out of my FF program?
I have always used USAirways for all my travel, but since I will be using Quantas and have traveled on BA (and plan future travel with them as well), I am at a loss as to where to start.

TIA!

Hi, I'm new to this forum but have picked up already that US schemes seem to be much more generous than european ones. As I guess you are US based it alSo probably makes sense to use US airlines schemes. I would therefore sugest you claim the BA miles on AA.

Be careful. AA won't give you miles across the Atlantic for BA into or home from London. You have to fly AA metal on that route if you want miles.

The AA/BA trans-atlantic mileage postings can be confusing, so I echo the advice to be careful.

AA miles don't accrue on trans-Atlantic BA flights to/from the US (except - currently - flights to/from MAN). However, trans-Atlantic BA flights to/from Canada are eligible to earn AA miles.

As far as your first question: You might still be able to submit boarding passes from your February flight for mileage credit. I believe most airlines will accept them for up to one year afterwards. Good luck.

Well, I'd be starting off with a trip to both the Oneworld Forum and Qantas Frequent Flyer Forum

I'd look at Alaska's web site, and their forum here, also. I believe both BA and QF are Alaska partners, and mileage may accumulate with Alaska differently than it does with AA (for discounted tickets). You have a lot of work ahead.
