Is the American Airlines board down?
I've had no luck this morning getting into the American Airlines board. Is it down?
One time it loaded showing zero posts. The other boards look normal.
Buzz took a long time to respond today also.
Am I the only one having this problem?

No, you're NOT alone!
"Now it has once again bogged down - so much so that it's nearly impossible to get into the UA or AA fora!"

It's killing me! I couldn't get in yesterday, and still can't today. This happened right after they shut the board down for a few days when they upgraded the site - remember? I wish something could be done. I can't get into AA forum at all, and need to do some research there before I head off on a trip. Anybody know any other way to get in? I was able to get to a specific thread (by clicking in from a locked thread in the Buzz that included the link to it's more 'appropriate' location in AA. Does anybody have links to some of the 20K threads in AA? It seems to just be the "American" level that has problems.

Dorian,
In all seriousness, where would you suggest the thread should be located? AA'ers make up a significant proportion of the FT community, so their continuing inability to access the AA forum probably is a lot closer to "Buzz" than "Technical Issue". I'd agree that the AA board would have been optimal, although the ability to post it there would have obviated the need to post it in the first place.

The moderators role does not include handling technical problems. They can, however, pass along problem reports by e-mail to the tech staff (assuming the moderators know who they should be talking to). In any case, problem reports are probably best placed in the Technical Issues forum.

Dorian - when the two heaviest used Forums are down, and no-one from FT responds in any way in Technical Forum, how on earth is any casual user going to know problem is technical, and not their computer?
See this post below from a day back - done how and where you suggest - not a soul from FT posted "Hold tight folks we are working on this, and expect to be done in a few hours" or whatever". The "New FT" seems incredibly slow many days, bug ridden on others, and entire Fora down in between. This is of course called "Progress".

Technical Issues and/or email them directly. No one can possibly justify starting this thread here...unless they have lost their ability to scroll...and even then the Randy Petersen forum would have been more appropriate.

Me thinks someone cut costs by hiring the AA.com IT department!
They wanted us AA'ers to feel right at home on FT by taking the boards down to AA.com levels!
There are some more jokes here as it relates to FT and AA.com... anyone?
