Swissair's Qualiflyer Program 'pays' 500 STATUS-miles per NIGHT (max of 5 nights in a row) for stays at any Swisstel (Swisstels have just been bought by the famous Singapor based Raffles Hotel-Group).
Staying at a Radisson SAS hotel you will earn base points for EuroBonus. This mean you could actually became EuroBonus Gold without flying SAS or any other airline.
SAS/EuroBonus isnt a partner of Hilton or any other big hotel chains

LatinPass
Care to elaborate, 3455quebec? It's not really clear what you are referring to specifically about LatinPass vis-a-viz base miles.
Rudi, kempis, great tips! Looking at the thread title I would've said 'no way'.

I thought the question was if there are any programs that give status miles for partner transactions such as car rentals and hotel stays. LatinPass does this.
Page 19 of the Member Guide dated Jan 2000 states "In addition, mileage earned with car rentals and hotel stays also qualify for LatinPass Conquistador status."

Thanks Rudi, kempis, 3544quebec.
I would not have think at particular hotel brand that gives base miles;that is really worth knowing that, and I do not regret tio have asked this question.
In the sense I wanted to ask, the answer is obviously no. I do not understand why none of these programs do that ?
Are really hotels and car rental not as good as partners as the airlines are ?
