Probabaly Delta promos ahead.
Since Delta is now offering a 35% bonus for converting American Express Membership Rewards points to Delta Airlines miles, I suspect that airline might add similar promos for hotel points. The seem to understand that selling miles to points programs is so profitable that they can offer a bonus to get more business.

This is a bit off-topic, but Diners Club offered 30% bonuses for US and UA (expired, I think, but I'm not sure), and it offers a 50% BA bonus each summer. I believe that Amex is offering a 25% bonus for CO, and does from time to time. Several months ago, DL offered a 25% bonus from all of its hotel programs, including Starwood (i.e., 25% + 25%). Starwood recently offered a transfer bonus from Amex (1 for 2 instead of 1 for 3). Has anyone seen transfer bonuses for AA or NW?

milcrat: thank you for response. What I was thinking about is : Starwood has the 25%, but on top of that nonths ago with BA they offered once 100% premium and an other time 50%. So starting with 20,000 Starwood you could have ended up with 50,000 BA miles one promo an other with 37,500 miles.

I used it for a travel package: used 120,000 MR points and turned them in 144,000 AA miles.
