hello
I am fully aware that you can no longer request addition to the list, and its onyl by invitation now...
i am a new user to flyertalk, havign seenn it mentioned at Sheryls priceline bidding forum...rather than pester people to invite me, I ask that someone who is in, please invite me...I am new here but have posted to Sheryl's priceline forum under the name spec411, and you can see my contributions there..i believe i can contribute many deals to this list, as I once successfully booked and STAYED at a $0 rate at a NYC area Hilton...
if someone chooses to sponsor me, please email me at [email protected] so I can personally thank you!!

Ohh! I missed the deadline and I( want to be on the list! I think I am a person for the list but, I do not think I know anyone who can get me an invite to be on the list.... at least I am not sure. However, I really would like to be one the list. If anyone on the list can help me get on the list I would be greatful.

Bean, I think you have made your position quite clear. We obviously have different views on what is "sad"... Not much more to say that I have not already made clear in you amazing "New list"-thread. I am sure you are aware of what I think.

Now, I realize that I'm not going to be on this list (not a whole lot of posts), but I get a kick out of the MANY people whose only posts are to say "Sign me up" .. That's just not going to work!
I figure, this list'll work for a short time .. Then someone will have the great idea to reopen the list to people, some of the hotel reps will already have slid in with enough posts to qualify .. That should kill it fast!
Oh, and I have to figure with the list at 300+ already, at least 1 of those people is works for a hotel or airline .. Hey, it's a good idea, though (and it'll work better than putting the info directly on the main page!)

Sorry, this is the biggest bunch of hooey I've seen in a long time: someone stroking his/her's ego & quite a few lemmings begging to be included. You all sound like the kids who never were accepted in high school.
As someone who could use valuable travel tips, I nevertheless refuse to participate in such grandstanding: why have a FT board if the info isn't free to share? Because of Lord Fly-by-night or whatever he/she calls him/herself, this board has become increasing less valuable in the past month.
Here's a clue: cut the "airlines are our enemies & we have to find every way imaginable to screw 'em" crap-- half of you (at least) don't even pay for your trips!

I have been off the board for several months, so I missed the deadline. I would appreciate someone sponsoring me to the list. If you e-mail me ([email protected]) I can thank you personally.

I agree - a bunch of crap.
I thought an exclusive list was hooey, but I asked to be on the list anyway. I was sent a from reply stating that I would be contacted later, and was never contacted.
Goldlust and their cohorts never responded to my emails either.
Oh well - I hope this "list" idea does not catch on.
