They hide in the shrubbery !?!?!??. Jeez, he's lucky he didn't get assaulted!
Panhandling like that is often the prelude to a mugging. Without getting into specific details, lets just say that 'dillos react VERY badly to being snuck up on like this.

If somebody did that to me I'd have no reservations about cocking him with the pump and then calling the cops!

this is a good reason for you to fly in/out of SNA or ONT. there are far less problems.

I use that station about 20x's oer year and get hit up everytime. They are MUCH MORE aggressive at that station. As far as the prices - welcome to the Golden State. If you like prices in and around LAX, come visit us in Northern CA, we'll REALLY make you happy
