every web site should have a tree [map]

its amazing how many times i can't get anywhere on web sites. every one should have a click on home page to show the map. the form of a tree would be great, with up & down & jump to other limbs. also should be text & not cutsy graphics which take time & are not needed when you want to get to the meat. am i the lone ranger?

Sitemaps are considered good practise. However, given how things have shaped up in the past seven years, many of the high profile entities have ignored it. I consider any site that has a sitemap to be sensitive to the core priciples.

Without a doubt, maps have been the most useful tool ever on Web sites. Just think if Hilton had one with all of the properties they own. Their site is so difficult to just search for a specific area. You have to check each brand to find what you want.
