Sharing air miles - question
I'm guessing he answer to this is no but I thought I might as well ask anyway.
I've booked a flight for five people with American Airlines via Expedia.co.uk, and it gives you the option to enter a frequent flyer program number for each flyer. Total flight distance is 11,500 miles.
Can one person's number be entered for everyone? (So all of the miles go onto the same account, and one person gets 57,500 miles.)
Is 11,500 miles worth having? None of us fly very often.
Thanks for your help!

Answer is yes and no. The way you put it: NO. You cannot use one person's frequent flyer number for all of them. However there is another way to put your question. Can you combine the miles of all the family members for one person. Yes: it is possible for a few select airlines but unfortunately not AA. You can do it for BA for sure. The rest you have to search for a thread here in the forum. I am sure it was discussed not long ago.
