MIles for train travel

Alaska Airlines gives miles for Amtrak travel on the west coast. Amtrak also has its own mileage program, from which I think you can transfer into airlines.
I don't know of any other ways to get miles for train travel, but I'm sure others do.

UA Mileage Plus gives miles for Eurostar. Though, I had to send in the ticket stubs (they are airline in style).
Sadly, it is a real dilema from London -- Do I get 750 status miles flying BD and have loads of hassel or do I get 250 non-status miles and relax on Eurostar??

Amtrak and Icelandair announced that they have teamed up to provide a unique travel experience to Europe with the introduction of the first U.S. train and plane codeshare.
