Will Orbitz Suck the Air Out of Travel Sites?
The major airlines' e-ticket service is cleared for takeoff, under the watchful -- and worried -- eyes of regulators and rivals.

I've tried the beta-version of Orbitz and liked it. The market is big enough for all three sites to compete and for niche smaller online travel sites. DOT approved Orbitz and I'm sure will be watching to ensure anti-competitive practices do not hurt the consumer. The attached article in Aviation Now is pretty good.
