travel dilemma
I was wondering if anyone can help we with my travel dilemma,
Sob story:
My mother is looking to take me on a belated Holiday trip to the tropics. We are both flexible. (figure of speech)
Requirements:
Warm, not to crowded, and a cheep flight out of SFO/Oakland/SJC
Any suggestions or heads up would greatly be appreciated. THX!

Try Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas. Alaska Airlines has wonderful service and they offer some tour packages down there.
Also, you might want to give Aloha Airlines a call. They recently inaugurated flights between OAK and HNL and last I've heard they were selling seats for about $399.00 round trip. That is a good fare for Hawaii.

Alaska Airlines generally has some fantastic webspecials. They fly to three destinations in Mexico that might appeal to you. Check http://www.alaskaair.com on a daily basis (they update the specials several times a week at seemingly random times.) I am sure that something good will pop up for you if you are a bit patient.
The specials to Mexico are generally out of LAX (although you may find some from the Bay Area.) Don't forget that you can always get a cheap flight on Southwest from Northern Cal to LAX and then connect!
Good luck and keep us posted.

For some very good rates on packages to Mexico, call Suntrips at 1-800-suntrip. They have charter flights out of SFO. Their rates are usually lower than Alaska Vacations or other tour packages from the scheduled carriers.
