Miles for Parking at Thrifty

I recently learned that one can earn 250 miles after three parking visits at Thrifty on a variety of airlines, including UA, US, TW, CO, DL and others. One can also earn hotel points instead.

If you are a frequent denizen of Thrifty parking, ask the attendant to give you a punch card to keep track of your visits.

I had heard quite some time ago that Thrifty offers miles for parking as well as renting but none of the attendants in PDX ever seemed to know anything about it when queried in the past. According to the very friendly agent at 1-800-777-4761, you can
collect your old receipts and mail them, accompanied by your FF#, to

Hope they've improved since they started this program a few years back; I *never* got credit for parking, even once, even after calling and faxing receipts. Of course, their regular car rental operation didn't credit about half the time, either. I've given up on Thrifty, pretty much.

Thought I might try again now that they've got "Gold Points" to give (Radisson's program). Apparently you can get a significant number of Gold Points instead of miles for rentals. Since the miles are now of insignificant number, this might be a reason to try it again.

I'd be interested to hear about parking experiences from any Thrifty SFO parking customers these days.....

For years I parked there and never got my miles, they would refer me to somebody to somebody else. It was a waste of time. These programs that promise miles and then just blow us off really gets to me.
