Any suggestions?
I am relatively new to the FF game and had a couple of questions for some of you veterans. I currently have 47,000 on UA and will hit premier status this year. Since I recently moved, my 13,000 on NW will become useless to me because I cannot get any good flights on NW now. Is there anything I can do with those miles?
Thanks for your help

First... welcome to FT.
Second... you might get a better response in the Northwest Forum.
That being said, you can transfer those miles to another account for a fee. I just recently gave away miles to someone because I have not flown United for years... it is not cheap... but a good option if someone needs miles to top of their account.

Also Alaska and maybe a few other non-SkyTeam carriers.
You can also redeem NW miles for magazine subscriptions.
(Unrelated suggestion: when starting threads, try to be pretty specific in the title such as "Need suggestions for orphaned NW miles" so that the people with the most knowledge will read and possibly respond to the thread.)
Edited to add:
You can also donate NW miles to the Red Cross for tsunami or other relief. http://redcross.org/donate/donatemiles.html
