book to bump?
has anyone heard stories of people booking flights on peak travel days with no intent of flying? (bluffing and booking a refundable ticket and showing up at the airport with no wish to fly.. but only to get bumped and cancel the ticket)?

There are plenty of threads on Flyertalk about people doing this... especially around major hoilidays like Thanksgiving.
