Four Seasons Hotel discounts?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I was unsure where to ask this question.

Does anyone know of a web site or service where I can find any discounts for rooms at the Four Seasons Istanbul?

Thanks for your help!! Bob

My suggestion is find a travel agent in Turkey. Rates quoted by local agents are always below rack rate. Everything for sale in that country is open to negotiation.

The only travel agency I personally know in Turkey is Okoto Travel in Ankara, not Istanbul however. Two years ago I dealt with "Akif Gurerk", who was great, but I'm not sure if he is still with that exact firm. Email: [email protected]

Tell Akif that "Greg's LA friend Craig sent you".

The best rate I could get for the Four Seasons Istanbul was from the hotel directly, though Orion-Tour ([email protected] +90 212 248 8437) offered a better rate for one person, but not two persons.

If possible, get your quote in lira. They gave us a dollar quote, but then converted it to lira at an unfavorable exchange rate, which Amex then converted back to dollars at a less than favorable exchange.

However, the hotel is beautiful! Make sure to have lunch or a drink on the upper patio, where you can see the Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque simultaneously
