Post-Tsunami Bargains to Asia?

Not trying to be morbid, but I would have thought that Malaysia/Singapore/Thai (e.g.) would have had some "specials" to this part of the world to stimulate business. I haven't noticed any (would be a great time for a Mileage Run).

There have been other threads, besides the BA one. These have generated heated responses.

Two issues. First, there are many FT'ers with ties to that part of Asia, and are still "healing". Out of respect for these FT'ers and the many people who also suffered, this is not a great time to bring up this subject.

Second, this is not an appropriate topic for "Miles"Buzz. As was stated by the OP. this is about a mileage run. These are not discussed in "MilesBuzz".
