Southwest Segments
Hello All!
A friend of mine who is a very major FF traveler (I have referred him to this board) has appx 6 SW segments, but not enough to redeem, and they will expire. Any ideas what he can do with these miles?

My experience with this situation on Southworst is that they are gone. If he had 12 or more I know of someone who called and they extended them for 3 months so he could get to 16 for redemption...

Your friend either needs to fly Southwest very quickly or enroll in their Visa credit card program and charge his Xmas gifts. Otherwise, he will lose his segment credits.

Membership Rewards? If your friend has a lot of M-R points, they can be transferred into
Southwest's FF program. Then maybe the six segments can be extended.
