JetBlue coming to DEN
Today's Post had a classified ad for a new station manager and cust. service reps for JetBlue in Denver. No indication of when service will begin. Wonder if DL will now restart the recently dropped DEN-JFK nonstop.

Yup, it's a good news for consumers. I wish JetBlue to start serving DC soon...

I'm watching the Seattle news as we speak and they are talking about JetBlue coming to Seattle. The website doesn't have flight listings for SEA yet, but I liked the prices from other locations to JFK.

Looks as if JetBlue will have a dinner departure westbound from JFK to SEA and a red-eye return. Just one RT daily to start. Equipment will be A320 of course. The news didn't specify a debut date for the SEA service.

All their transcon service contemplates an eastbound red-eye. For purposes of aircraft utilization, this is perfect. They ran an ad in the Sunday Seattle paper looking for a station manager.

Let's hope they stay healthy and expand. They're our best insurance of keeping service and prices competitive. Next, would be having Congress permit foreign carriers to compete on domestic routes. Then we'd really see some competition.

I would love to see some cabotage here. Drive those insanely inflated prices down and give US carriers an idea of what service is all about!

US stance on free trade generally is to make it as free as possible abroad (to allow the US to compete) and to make it as restrictive as possible at home to prevent competition.
Virgin and BA would both love to run US domestic routes.

In an ad in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle today (3/7/01) JetBlue shows start dates for Seattle as May 1 and Denver as May 17th.
In a typically catchy ad, "Catch The Latestest On All The Other Airlines' Mergers.
The only airline with free, live 24 channel satellite TV"
