New User

Hi. I am a new user and just wanted to say hello. I am just becoming a new member of American Advantage. I mostly travel to the caribbean for my timeshare and am sick of the $850 pp airfares.

Welcome to the FT board Susie. Fortunately I have never bought a timeshare nor paid that kind of money for many many many trips to the very nice Caribbean (BTW mostly F/C). Would you enlighten us as to where this timeshare is, approx where you are located and approx stay dates? I assume you know months in advance when your usage dates are, the locations etc. You may get some good advice if we have more details. This FT board can do wonders if we get some important facts.

Welcome, Susie. You'll find this a friendly and helpful site for information and tips for travelers. May even become addictive--but its fun.

Susie, check back often on the American Airlines board. There a response to your question on AAdvantage dining there. Welcome, again.

Welcome Susie.

We have a time share at the Towers at Mullet Bay in St. Maarten. Unfortunately we've not used it in about 5 years, and keep banking our weeks & using them for RCI exchanges.

Welcome Susie.
My wife and I also own a couple of timeshares but none in the Carribbean yet. For sure getting free trips sure brings down the cost of the trip since one of ours is in Rhodes (a dear ticket from SFO) and the other in Vegas we just use for trading to those fc places that just never seem to be inexpensive.
You have found the very best place for maximizing your flying and ff mileage earning ability experience. Enjoy wholeheartly
